Ventrilo has been set up for recruitment and members also friends

The server is only a 20 man slot server however it should be good enough for the time being ^^

I've written a guide for those that have never used Ventrilo before

For those that do know how to use it. The details are:

hostname: lon2.ugt-servers.com
port: 8816

Note: any abuse and harassment towards Emperia members will be banned from the server. If awaiting for recruitment there is a recruitment channel on the server. Please join that server and post a message in the recruitment section of this forum.

How to get ventrilo


Ventrilo is a free software downloaded at www.ventrilo.com simply go to download on the left hand side and select the windows client. (Sorry, the server doesn't support mac codec). Once downloaded install the program like any other normal software.

Setting Ventrilo up

Once you have ventrilo started up you will see aload of buttons, 3 drop down boxes.

First you must assign yourself a Username (don't have to register).
Click on the arrow like button "->" next to the username drop down box another window will appear.
In the new window click on the "New" button and type in your desired username. Then click OK. Click OK again and you will have the username in the dropdown box.

Next is entering the Ventrilo server details. Again click on the arrow box next to the Server dropdown box. Press new and give the server a name. For Example: Emperia

then type the details in the following field:

Hostname or IP: chi3.ugt-servers.com
port: 8816

Click Ok once again and the server can now be seen in the drop down box. Click Connect and i'll see you there
